This week’s campus safari is about the speaker I chose to go see yesterday night at the Lymann Center, Wes Moore. As this year common read the freshman class was assigned the book The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore. I thought his speech was really great. He wasn’t all inspirational; he chose to just be honest and to the point really enjoyed it. I liked how he made the point that no one is going to ask what you got on a test or what your GPA was graduating college, but that what matters most is why you are remembered when you’re gone and that you are remembered. That really meant something to me. Wednesday, November 16, 2011
